The TransVantage Group began in 1963 as FTS Industries (Freight Traffic Services). FTS provided complete traffic consulting to manufacturers, distributors and retailers in need of professional and technical transportation management prior to de-regulation. A need was recognized and FTS created one of the nations first Freight Bill Audit and Payment firms.  Today TransVantage Solutions handles our audit and payment functions.

After many years as a consultant and audit firm, it was decided to enhance the service offering to include asset and non-asset based transportation. STS Transportation was born.  STS evolved into TransVantage Transportation and TransVantage Forwarding with terminals across the nation.

In 2008, The TransVantage group acquired "Integrated Global Logistics" of Memphis TN (Now TransVantage Technology). TV Tech specializes in supply chain technology solutions focusing on Transportation Management systems (TMS) and IT consulting services for shippers, carriers and 3PL providers.

This acquisition completes an exciting initiative to develop the company into a full service 3PL service provider and to reengineer and modernize our freight payment services.  The combined 100 years of collective experience from both organizations has resulted in the release of the most up to date, state of the art, freight audit - payment and information management system available in the market today.
